









Bronwyn Pringle
Bronwyn is a Melbourne-based freelance lighting designer and technician who has worked around Australia with companies such as Malthouse Theatre, The Ballarat Arts Academy, La Mama, Theatre in Decay, Arts Projects Australia, Stuck Pigs Squealing, Here Theatre, Impro Melbourne and many more. The projects she has worked on range from large festivals to small developmental pieces in venues such as The Sydney Opera House, a nightclub in London's west end, the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, the air-conditioning ducts in Federation Square to a woolshed in Glencoe, plus many more conventional and non-conventional theatre spaces. Bronwyn has also taught workshops at a variety of places including VGA, NMIT, VUT, The Women's Circus and Monash University.
Design highlights include, In Other Words, The Time is not yet Ripe (Here Theatre), Source/Sauce, After the War, Another Kind of Listening, Site, Kiss me Kate, The Architect and the Emperor of Assyria, 4x Beckett, Batboy, Lens and Angry Eddie. Bronwyn has won Fringe festival design awards for Anachronisticity (co-design with Richard Vabre) and Uninvited Guests (design Collaboration award with Clare Watson and Marg Horwell) and Green Room Awards for Lighting Design - Drama for the Malthouse Theatre Season of Alias Grace (2005) and for Lighting Design - Independent Theatre for Letters from Animals (Here Theatre/SRWT 2007).
