Alice Bishop

Alice is a Director, Designer and Performer who began her career at the age of 9 in a touring production of 'Alice in Wonderland' playing the dormouse.

Directorial credits include: '10,000 Cigarettes' Melbourne Fringe '07. The yet to be released film 'Pawn Shop'. 'Alzheimers the Musical' for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival - nominated for a Golden Gibbo Award, the noir classic 'Prisoner of Love', 'The Trial of Adolf Eichmann' for La Mama, Percy Shelley's 'The Cenci' for Perth's Hayman Theatre, 'I've Got a Bug' for The Adelaide Fringe, as well as 'Much Ado About Nothing' for Essential Theatre, 'Autogeddon' Melbourne Fringe '06, 'After the War' and 'Last Tango In Brunswick' for Immediate Theatre and 'Tartuffe' with le Poulet Terrible.

For three years she was a member of 'The Sheryls', an all-girl stand-up comedy outfit which played to packed houses on the Australian festival circuit and the Edinburgh Fringe. Her career as a performer also encompasses TV guest roles and many plays. As a designer she has worked on programmes for Channel 7 (including 'Big Bite'), video clips and commercials, little films, big musicals, many theatre projects and fashion labels.
